Oral Presentation Poster Session

Guidelines for Oral Presentation

The KINGCA Week 2018 Organizing Committee would like to sincerely thank you for your participation. To ensure that your work can be shared effectively, we’d like to ask you to check the following guidelines.

1.Presentation Time

Session Type Allotted Time
Named Lecture (JP KIM, JS MIN, Presidential lecture) 30 min.
Meet the professor 60 min.
Symposium, Education Session, Video Symposium,
Korean-German gastric cancer session,
Session for nurse specialist		 20 min. (Including Q&A)
Asian Collaboration Session 18 min. (Including Q&A)
Oral Presentation 7 min. presentation + 3 min. for Q&A
Plenary Oral Session, Video Presentation 12 min
  • -Please be sure to keep to the allotted presentation time in consideration of the next speaker.
  • -Arrive at your session room at least 20 minutes before the session begins.
  • -You will be responsible for controlling/advancing your slides.

2. Presentation File Format

  1. -Microsoft Office PowerPoint (PPT) 2010 or PDF.
  2. -Use a standard font such as Times New Roman, Arial or Tahoma.
  3. -Video files should be in WMW, MPEG or AVI format.
  4. -Images should be in JPG, GIF or BMP format.

3. Equipment

  1. -Session rooms will be equipped with a computer running Windows (IBM only, no Mac), projector and microphone.
  2. -Podiums will be equipped with a monitor, microphone, mouse and smart pointer (No keyboard).
  3. -We DO NOT recommend using your own laptop computer for your presentation to avoid problems with computer-projector compatibility.
    ** Apple Macintosh / Apple Keynote / Personal Laptop Users: Please notify the Secretariat and bring your Mini Display Port-VGA Adapter.

4. File Submission

  1. -Please bring your presentation files on a USB memory stick to the Preview Room at least 2 hours before your scheduled presentation.
  2. -Presenters are requested to check their presentation files to ensure they work correctly in our system.

Guidelines for Poster Session

The KINGCA Week 2018 Organizing Committee would like to sincerely thank you for your participation. To ensure that your work can be shared effectively, we’d like to ask you to check the following guidelines.

1. Poster Session Schedule

  • -Poster sessions will be held in Poster / Exhibition Hall
  • -Presenting authors should be present beside the posters during the assigned sessions.
  • -Selected Poster authors will be notified the details of their presentation time individually.

2. Poster Size

  • -Poster size should be A0 (1189mm x 841mm)
  • -Poster panels are 2,350mm in height by 950mm in width
  • -The poster title, author(s)'s name(s) and affiliation(s) should appear at the top.

3. Set-up

  1. -A poster panel and presentation number (Code No.) will be provided for each poster.
  2. -Mounting and Removal must be done during the assigned schedule only. If not, it will be removed by staff without notice and the organizing committee will not take responsibility for any damages or losses.
  3. -Adhesive tape will be available to attach your poster to the panel. (Tape will be provided in the poster session room)

4. Best Poster Award

  1. -The evaluation will be conducted by the Chairs during poster presentation hours.
  2. -Awardees will receive certificates from the congress during the Award Ceremony (April 28, 12:50-13:10).
